Wink Academy Policy

Effective for: 1:1 Training, Group Training & Online Training Courses

By enrolling in any training program with Wink Academy, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies and terms of enrolment:

Refunds & Returns

Wink Academy complies with Australian Consumer Law.

  • Refunds are not available for change of mind or accidental purchases.
  • All course fees are non-refundable.
    This includes Online Training, which grants immediate access to digital course materials.
  • Student kits are non-refundable and non-returnable due to hygiene regulations.
  • Refund requests due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., serious illness) will be assessed case-by-case by Wink Academy’s Director.

Cancellations & Reschedules (In-Person Training)

Cooling-Off Period:

  • 48-hour cooling-off period applies from the time of deposit/payment, excluding instant-access Online Training.
    A full refund will be issued if cancellation is received in writing within this timeframe.

Outside Cooling-Off Period:

  • Deposits/booking fees are strictly non-refundable.
  • The remaining course balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the training start date.
  • Cancellations made less than 10 days before training will incur a 50% tuition fee.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of training will incur a 100% tuition fee.
  • Once training has commenced, the full course fee remains payable, regardless of student attendance or completion.

Termination by Wink Academy

Wink Academy reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrolment under the following circumstances:

  • Failure to comply with training expectations or student code of conduct.
  • Disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, or aggressive behaviour.
  • Violation of hygiene, professionalism, or legal standards.
  • Any other matter deemed to compromise the safety, wellbeing, or reputation of staff or students.

No refund will be issued in the case of termination due to misconduct.

Force Majeure

Wink Academy is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions (Including Lockdowns)
  • Illness or injury to staff
  • Travel disruptions
  • War, civil unrest, or acts of terrorism

In such cases, training will be rescheduled as soon as reasonably practical. Refunds are not applicable for force majeure-related disruptions.

Payments, Deposits & Instalment Plans

All course fees must be paid in full prior to training unless a formal payment plan is in place.

  • Payment plans via Stripe or Buy Now Pay Later services (e.g., Afterpay, Zippay) are subject to their own terms.
    Wink Academy is not responsible for third-party provider disputes.
  • Late instalments will incur a $10.00 late fee per occurrence.
  • If a payment is declined three times, the student’s enrolment will be cancelled without refund.

Late Payments:

  • A late payment fee of $20.00 AUD per day applies to overdue balances.
  • Failure to settle outstanding balances may result in cancellation of training and loss of enrolment.

Invoices:

  • Invoices must be paid within 24–48 hours of issue to secure your place.
  • GST may apply and will be outlined on your invoice.

Media Release

By attending Wink Academy training, students consent to the use of any photographs or videos taken during training for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes unless otherwise stated in writing before the course date.

Student Code of Conduct

All students are expected to:

  • Act respectfully toward educators, staff, and fellow students
  • Maintain hygiene and safety practices
  • Adhere to all course instructions and academy protocols
  • Use course content for personal and business development only, not redistribution

By proceeding with your enrolment & payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to all policies outlined by Wink Academy. These terms are binding upon enrolment.
